Editorial Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Independence & Integrity
The Schpot Blog is an editorial publication operated by Schpot. While the blog exists to support Schpot's business, our editorial content is produced independently. We do not allow commercial relationships to influence the factual accuracy, objectivity, or recommendations in our articles.
No Sponsored Posts
We do not accept paid content, sponsored posts, or "advertorial" articles. Every article you read on this blog was written and published because we believe it genuinely helps our readers — not because a brand paid for placement.
Author Standards
- All articles are written by named authors with relevant domain experience.
- Author bios are honest representations of experience and credentials.
- We do not publish anonymous content.
- Where AI tools are used in the drafting process, content is reviewed, fact-checked, and substantially edited by a human author before publication.
Factual Accuracy
We strive to keep all factual claims accurate and up to date. Where we cite external data (pricing, statistics, regulations), we link to the primary source. If you spot an inaccuracy, please contact us — we will investigate and correct promptly.
Links to Schpot.com
Articles on this blog may contain contextual links to Schpot.com. These links are included editorially — they appear when the article's topic makes a direct booking opportunity genuinely useful for the reader. Links always use UTM tracking so we can measure their effectiveness. We do not link to Schpot in ways that misrepresent the product or mislead readers.
External Links
Where we cite external sources, we use rel="noopener noreferrer" and do not accept compensation for outbound links. We link to credible third-party sources including government bodies, industry associations, and well-established publications.
Corrections Policy
If we make a factual error, we will correct the article promptly and note the correction at the bottom of the post with the date it was made. We do not silently delete or alter published factual claims.
EEAT Commitment
We take Google's E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) framework seriously — not because Google requires it, but because it reflects the right way to produce content. Our authors have first-hand experience in the spaces they write about.
